Lease2Grow.com is a commercial equipment financing broker. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, contact the team, book a call or submit a financing application.

Information we collect

When you contact us or book a call, we may receive your name, business name, contact details, message and appointment information. Our Jotform application asks for business and equipment information, a quote or invoice, and information about owners or principals. This may include personal addresses, date of birth, financial and credit information, signatures and supporting documents. The application requires a Canadian social insurance number (SIN) or, for U.S. applicants, a Social Security number (SSN). This information is used for personal-credit review in connection with personal guarantees. This is an application requirement set by Lease2Grow. Please provide sensitive information through the designated application, not ordinary email.

Our website and service providers may also process technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, device and browser information, pages requested and security logs. See the Cookie Policy for information about cookies and embedded services.

Why we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, arrange calls, prepare and route financing requests, clarify application details, communicate decisions and proposed terms, administer our relationship, protect against fraud and misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Lease2Grow passes every client financing file through Affiliated Financial Services (AFS). AFS performs the credit and other financing checks; Lease2Grow does not perform those checks itself. Where authorized by the application and permitted by law, AFS may obtain credit-bureau information and personal credit scores.

Who may receive information

Every client financing file is routed to AFS. For a financing decision and proposed terms, AFS may share application information and the credit report obtained using the information and authorization provided in the application with prospective lending partners, as authorized. Lease2Grow does not sell or rent personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We use Hostinger for website hosting and email, Jotform for applications, TidyCal for bookings and Dropbox for application records held by Lease2Grow. These providers process information to deliver their services under their own terms. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or authorities where permitted or required by law. The application is hosted by Jotform and is not stored as a WordPress form submission. Read Jotform’s privacy policy and TidyCal’s privacy policy for details about those services.

Processing outside Canada

Our service providers and financing partners may process information outside Quebec or Canada, including in the United States, where different laws may apply. Provider privacy policies describe their processing practices. Contact our privacy contact below if you have questions about where your application information is handled.

Safeguards and retention

Application records held by Lease2Grow are kept in an encrypted Dropbox account. Our usual retention period for funded and declined application records is two years, followed by automatic deletion. This describes Lease2Grow’s application-record practice; records held by AFS, lenders or external providers may be subject to different retention periods and obligations. Other information is kept as needed for the purposes described in this policy and applicable legal or business requirements. Contact us for questions about retention or deletion of your information. No website or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask to access or correct personal information held by Lease2Grow, subject to applicable exceptions. You may also ask about a use or disclosure, withdraw consent where permitted, or opt out of marketing messages. A withdrawal may limit our ability to process a financing request already underway. Changes

We update this policy when our practices or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.

Website interaction measurement

We keep daily totals of selected link clicks (telephone, meeting, application and checklist download) and search-form submissions. This report does not store search terms, names, IP addresses or visitor identifiers. Totals are kept for 90 days and are not sent to an external analytics service. This feature uses no cookies or local storage and respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Clicks do not confirm that a call, booking or application was completed.
